Bread Maker Harvest Stuffing Bread

Friday, November 14, 2008

I found this recipe in a circular in our local newspaper and converted it to the bread maker.  It is perfect for Thanksgiving and the leftovers make amazing croutons for a salad!

1 1/4 cups water

1 Tbls melted butter or margarine

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup whole wheat flour

2 1/2 tsp Rapid Rise Yeast

1 Tbls sugar

2 Tbls minced onion (dried or fresh)

1 Tbls dried parsley

1 1/2 tsp Poultry seasoning

1 tsp salt

Put all ingredients into the bread maker as listed and use the "Bread Rapid" setting.  The timing for the Hitachi HB B101 is approximately 2 hours and 50 minutes on this setting, so you can have delicious bread sooner than the regular setting.
