I never toss anything that I can find a use for somehow. en-us MamaJude's Frugality Tue, 23 Jan 2007 20:59:50 GMT http://www.myfrugallife.com/post30828213_MamaJude.html Since becoming a widow, life has been very interesting.&nbsp; I try to recycle everything.&nbsp; No, I'm not a nut who goes hog-wild.&nbsp; But, there are many things I do.&nbsp; One instance, I love the candles people give me.&nbsp; I wait until they have melted wax in there, dump out the wax, let it harden, break it in pieces and use that as fire starters.&nbsp; Since I have a big wood furnace, this has come in very handy.&nbsp; Old broken crayons do the same thing.<br /><br />My shopping has gone down to groceries.&nbsp; I shop only from the Roundy's sale flyer.&nbsp; I stock up on things I need when it's 10/$10.<br /><br />I have a re-sale shop just a bit down the street from me.&nbsp; It has great clothing.&nbsp; A couple years ago, I bought blue jeans - practically new - for $8 each.&nbsp; I'm still wearing them and they're in perfect condition.<br />
