My first attempt at making homeade laundry soap
Thursday, July 29, 2010
so I have been reading a lot about making my own laundry soap and i tried my first batch today will post the recipe I used at bottom of page. I have to wait until tomorrow to see if it turned out its suppose to gel up. I used a 2 gallon laundry container i have had for years with the pour spout on it i have kept it for its ease i kept reusing it because it fit perfectly on my laundry shelf and i just had to push a button on the spout. I have been trying to live a cleaner more eco friendly life style for my self and for my son. I am enjoying trying to stretch everything i can to get new ideas for stretching the budget i find it a competition with myself always trying to out do the last best deal i made from using vinegar for hundreds of things to making my own pancakes and freezing them reusing a bread bag to making sure i buy stuff on sale with coupons even to make sure i buy seasonal things after the holiday for the following holiday. I have a awsome gift closet lol.
My main motto right now is dont throw it away unless you cant recycle resale repurpose or return or regift it or break it apart and rebuild it different..
I am a fan of craigslist its easier for me then ebay but will also sell on ebay thanks uspostal service for the flat rate shipping.
