Blog: Use It Up Or Wear It Out

I am one of those people that insist on using everything as far as I can. I hate to throw away anything just in case it could be used in another way. My blog is about all my trials and errors, and the fun along the way.

Plastic Juice Containers
Friday, September 05, 2008

We use the juices and tea that comes in tall plastic containers.  When they are empty we then use these containers for many things.  The boys keep their small cars in them, we make sewing kits in them, small first aid kits for the car, snacks for each of the boys to carry when they go on a hike to place in their backpack.  They also place colors in them and have even put dry cereal for a snack.  The possibilities are endless as they are a great size  and have a good snap on lid.

Christmas Time a Comin'
Monday, September 01, 2008

I have been crocheting angels from plastic rings and crochet thread. They are pretty fast to make but I thought I would get a head start since time seems to fly.  I make these and deliver to the Rehab part of our hospital here.  I guess this is enough for my first post.
