my dog lost his companion about 7 weeks ago, her name was sox, and she was mac's mother figure. he is just starting to go to the bathroom without someone in the yard with him.  she always went out first and then he did. all he does is sleep , should we get another female dog for him, and should it be younger or older, he is about 6 now.
