Blog: Homemade Recipes for dogs with Kidney Disease

I have two dogs, both senior dogs that have kidney disease. My vet put them both on Hill's Science Diet k/d formula dog food. I want to start feeding them a homemade diet. Does anyone have any safe recipes their can share or know of any good websites that has recipes for this specific condition? Thanks!

Hi,

I have two senior dogs that have kidney disease and I am interested in changing them over to a homemade diet but I do not know what to feed them. I do know that they must have a low-protein diet. Does anyone have any recipes that they can share for dogs with this specifc condition? Thanks!
