I always enjoy reading your blog!

Reading your blog is like taking a vacation without leaving home. (Who would take care of the chickens?!) In some ways, we live very different lives. In other ways, we are similar--love of a good deal and Craig's list. Don't you go changing! Begonia

Pam: I checked out those websites you shared, and they led me to others. I especially liked the feestufftimes site. Thanks again. Begonia

Cabbage? Painting? Onions? Any smell driving you crazy? Set out a small bowl or plate and pour Baking Soda in it!!! It removes the smell!!!!! Afterwards...pour down drain to odorize that too!

Hi Begonia, ayesha here your tip works for rice too! I do it all the time. You just have to be careful to start with the right amount of water so it can't overcook.

cereal bags

i save these too-i buy generic brand chex cereal and make homemade chex mix-its MUCH tastier.then i put it all back into the bags-i make several batches in a row as it goes quickly-homemade is also better because you put in only what YOU like (no more picking around the indgrediants you dont like-for me it was the wheat chex).

My mother also sd that we cd make it for that - as I got older, I exercised more design sense, & got her to make what I considered stylish - her original choices had been very serviceable but not at all chic!

Sunday, January 24, 2010 | By scrapman32

Hi I too have a knifty knitter my wife and I both enjoy making scarfs and hats but the instruction books are a little vague about the instructions. Does anyone know of a site to wich we could get more info and instructions. My dad was making hats 20 years ago on a wooden rack. Good luck everyone
