back2life
I want people to know that the Back2life machine is no good. Mine broke down soon after I got it and the company won't honor its return policy.

My Mother Used to Save Those!
This blog is being written in memory of my mother, who was a very frugal woman. She would never waste anything, and I remember, as a child, being sooo put out by how frugal she was. She had experienced the Great Depression, you see, and she schooled me tirelessly in the ways of saving, re-using (or as we call it now: re-purposing), DIY, and "making do".
I will explore my memories of her saving ways, and compare them to my attempts at frugality today.

Homemade Recipes for dogs with Kidney Disease
I have two dogs, both senior dogs that have kidney disease. My vet put them both on Hill's Science Diet k/d formula dog food. I want to start feeding them a homemade diet. Does anyone have any safe recipes their can share or know of any good websites that has recipes for this specific condition? Thanks!

Doggie DNA sciencefair HELP!
My son is doing a Science Fair project on Dog DNA and we need help. We do not have enough dogs for the sample. He wants to see if Vets can identify the primary dog breed based on physical characteristist of the dog. We tested our dog but the Vets office only had two other people so far and we need more.
If you've DNA tested your dog would you share a picture, height and wight and the results for him to use?

Penny pot savings
I married a man whose work was seasonal so learning how to stretch a dollar was not a hobby but a real necessity, and since I hate house work if there is a short cut to getting the job done If I have not already found it, I surely will! I buy nothing retail if I can avoid it; and I can! they once called me cheap, now they call me artfully frugal.
