Always Making Diapers
Sunday, June 27, 2010

Well as my room mates recently had a baby and I am the only one that knows how to sew I get to make his diapers. There has been a lot of trial and error but finally I have figured it out.  If I make the diapers out of recycled knit fabric they fit longer because they stretch as he grows. I have finally taken the plunge and made my own pattern because he is proportioned differently. He was a preemie and is now 3 months old but he  his gaining a lot of girth but not a lot of length. Now I also have to make them trimmer because he has some hip and leg problems. His legs are stiff every time he gets his diaper changed we stretch him out. ECI will be coming to finalize his care plan on July 6th. I hope I figure out the picture thing so I can post pictures of my best diapers.
