You have already found the answer I'm sure, but to heal the scars emotionally, is a longer process. The physical scars can be removed by asking your doctor to help with free cosmetic surgery (they help people all of the time), unless you are wealthy enough to afford it. LaserTech is here! Borax laundry detergent-sprinkle on carpet and stuffed cushions (not on pets or their beds) Careful of small children not to let them breathe fumes for long, or play on powdered floor. Wait for about an hour and vacuum everywhere the powder was sprinkled- Take vacuum bag to outside trash. Repeat in a couple of days if needed. It will control ant's as well, sprinkle on window sills and inside cabinets, wait a day or so then clean up powder or leave it if you don't have a small child to swallow powder. Borax 20mule team contains Boric Acid, but it doesn't pose a problem unless over used or abused.

I gasped when I read the first sentence of this blog - I know how you do love your little gals. And being a pet lover myself (dogs for me, but just because mine are more common doesn't make them 'better' or anything like that) I know what a place they can have in your heart.

And Lucy too. I've so enjoyed your stories about her. I'm going to miss her too, if that makes sense. I'm glad you were able to give her such a great little chicken-life - I'm sure she's up in heaven braggin' up how great she had it right now!

Kelda: How did the homemade laundry soap work out for you? I've tried a similar recipe I found on the web, but it was a dry mix of borax, washing soda, and finely grated Fels Napatha soap. Begonia

Do u know of any other companies that have diount codes?

if you have carpet baking soda or borax will kill fleas.. it dries them out . put on and under cushions of furniture to. let it sit for a couple days, then vacuum up. repeat till gone.. also they dont like vinegar.. wash floors with it straight out of bottle dont mix with water.. let air dry.. vinegar only smells while it is wet.
