Thanks for the Web address
I went and checked out Haband and will probably order some generic pants. I got hooked on just plain old knit pants when I started shopping the Landsend Tent (clearance) sale years ago. There is also a lot of Landsend stuff with the tags on and gently used at garage sales and thrift stores around here. I've been having trouble finding plain old slacks lately though. Me Too! Thursday, March 03, 2011 | By begonia That is exactly what I was going to do tonight! I have been using cabbage in salad for years. Great minds think alike, Pam! I'll be using Nappa cabbage tonight. Though I think red cabbage is prettier. I also use shredded carrot to stretch a salad. Better go shut up the chicken house and go make supper. Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and SALAD! Thanks for the comment. Adding 2 Lettuce Thursday, March 03, 2011 | By pamphyila Years ago I found that adding shredded or chopped cabbage to my salads would make them healthier & make the lettuce go much further. I like red cabbage because of the color - and cabbage lasts so long in the frig! PVC Bird Monday, February 28, 2011 | By evedor

This is wonderful. I have insulated mine with some of that puffy insulation that fastens on the outside. You can also use a milar blanket around the container. This is great Cheap Fun Wednesday, February 23, 2011 | By begonia Thanks for the comment. We did have a lot of fun. It was a nice midwinter pick me up. This wouldn't be a difficult event for any well-organized Friends of the Library group to put on. The prizes, water, and table clothes, and napkins and plates etc. and signs and ballots are paid for by the $5 per entry fee. All the judging, set up, music, and clean up were provided by volunteers. Pretty cheap community event! food tasting Wednesday, February 23, 2011 | By attic_treasures Boy that sounds like fun. I wish they did stuff like that at the libraries in Michigan. living on a budget Saturday, February 19, 2011 | By attic_treasures Well when laundry detergent is on sale I stock up. When can goods are on sale I stock up. Then I just buy like a gallon of milk once a week or a loaf of bread, and food that's on sale. I only buy when it's on sale, then I just stock up. With laundry detergent I don't use the full amount on the cup. I use half to save on the laundry detergent and I only wash clothes when they look dirty or smell. Sometimes I use coupons because I can get the item for free. You might want to check out the local food pantry. I have done that when money was tight. good deals Saturday, February 19, 2011 | By attic_treasures You always seem to have an eye for good deals, and I look forward to reading your blog.
