In the state of Michigan if somethings doesn't ring up the price marked, you can get 10 times the difference.

Ya, that is true. You can always get good deals at the thrift store. My favorite are yard sales in the summer. I can hardly wait til summer.

The thriftstores around here don't seem to have coupons - but they do have sales! As you see, it always pays to look for odd things at a thriftstore. So I always look in nooks & crannies.

We had a great time celebrating! Supermkt flowers are a wonderful bargain - & they even go on sale at the end of the week....

Most of the bigger thrift stores around here have websites. They post coupons on their sites for you to print out and bring redeem. The St. Vincent De Paul stores run special sales every month and have instore specials as well that they advertise on their websites.

We use them to clean up dog poop, when we take the dog for a walk.

Some very nice pictures of the country side. We're getting warm weather here with temps in the 40's. I hope the weather stays warmer.

Good times still can be had by people with imagination and ingenuity! We found some great sales on candy at the grocery store Valentine's Day evening. They had already marked everything 50% off. Aldi carries the nicest flowers at the lowest prices, and in our town, the freshest roses are the ones you buy at the local Kwik Trip (local chain of gas/convenience stores)! Every once in a while I even treat myself to one of them.

Thanks for the idea Pam. I have a friend who ushers in Milwaukee and gets to see all the big productions that come through. I have heard of people who get into music festivals for free for helping set up or sell tickets.

It's great to volunteer & get goodies, too! Another thing one can do is to usher at a play or event & then get to see it, at the same time.
