I don't think that 5 days is bad for this big a project! I agree with you that mistints are great. The whole interior of our house is painted with mistints. (Even small hardware stores that mix paint will have them. You sometimes just have to ask.)

It is great that you got the materials for tearing the deck out. My husband recently helped a friend clear out the garage of a person who was moving and just wanted the stuff gone. He got enough lumber to complete a project in the kitchen/living room (He needs to move and rebuild a wall to replace our worn out wall oven.) for helping load and move it. He even got me another metal laundry rack out of the deal!

Yes, you can actually use volunteering as a learning experience. When you volunteer, people are usually happy to let you learn on the job - and you have something to show an employer, even if you have been unemployed - & now, employers are getting more and more demanding!

My butterflies are going to emerge from their cocoons soon and i need some food to feed them or they'll starve. I have black swallowtail, spicebush swallowtail, and eastern tiger swallowtail butterflies.

Yeah, we've been watching some of the games on regular television here. Watched Australia get humiliated by the Germans last night. My husband plays on an over-40s league and has been watching avidly. The crowd noise was incredible. It's a wonder the players can hear themselves think. It sounded like a hive of angry wasps! Do you know how and why the crowd was making that sound? (Sorry, I know it sounds dumb, but I thought maybe you might know the answer.) Begonia.

Here in this part of the world we are exposed to danger, once you travel to Game Parks Botswana and Neighbouring countries.
I have travelled in Europe, India, Bali and New Zealand, they have their own beauty and I enjoyed those holidays, I only wish I could afford to travel more.
Africa somehow have a hold on you once you are born here.
It must be the open spaces the friendly people where ever you go there's always a smile, especially the children of Africa.
The vibe in our country at the moment with the soccer in full swing unbelievable!!.
