Use It Up Or Wear It Out
I am one of those people that insist on using everything as far as I can. I hate to throw away anything just in case it could be used in another way. My blog is about all my trials and errors, and the fun along the way.

See a Penny Pick It Up
My blog is about living within your means and being content with it. I also hope to help people realize that a penny here or there can and will make a difference. See a penny, pick it up, and all day long you'll have good luck.

Please Help Me
Please I need your help. I'm sure that you all receive information from people that need help every day. But please indulge me for a few moments. I promise I will be brief. My name is Tonya and I am the mother of 3 children one of whom is a special needs child. I have spent the better part of 3 years in an abusive marriage in which I and my children have suffered emotional and physical abuse. The finial draw for me was to day when my husband verbally attach my 4yr old and told him "why don't you go out and play in traffic somewhere" after which he proceeded to yell and scream obsenities at him. I intervened only to be shoved to one side by this man and have him spit in my face in front of my children. I cannot take this anymore. I have called every shelter in the atlanta metro area and they are all full. I called the Georgia State Housing Authority and they have no open waiting lists and no section 8 vouchers available. I have contacted every housing assistance agency I have been able to find on the web including the Georgia Department OF community affairs. I have no living family except a astrainged brother whit whom I have no contact with in over five years. I just feel trapped. It has gotten so that my 4yr old will not sleep if i'm not sleeping and he costanly worries if I'm alright. I just don't know what to do I need a deposit of 400 dollers to get my own place but with out a job I just don't have the money and most o the shelter have a three to six month waiting list here. I just graduated college where I received my degree in Medical Billing and Coding. I am currently looking for a job. So you see Im not looking for a hand out just some help to start over and give my children the happy peaceful life they deserve. I am willing to do whatever it takes to give my children a better life. This is why I worked so hard to finish school. If you have any suggestions please let me know I just don't know where to turn. I Thank you for your time.

Black crud in the bottom of the dishwasher
I have a problem. I have clean dishes and the odor has finally gone away. I still have this black crud in the bottom of the dishwasher. I can clean it off easily, but it is down in the slats and underneath the dishwasher parts. I have tried the vinegar wash, it has not worked. What do you advise?
