Exhausted Grandma

I am a young 43 yr old Grandma of 2 boys. One is 15 months and the other is 3 months. I usually talk about them on a daily basis. The 15 month old has lived with me since day one. The 3 month old lives with his parents. I have 6 children. 4 are step and 2 are birthed. ages are 17 through 25. 3 boys and 3 girls. I haven't had a baby around to take care of since about 20 years ago. It's been awhile. I could use all the help I get on the new things that are out there to raise a child in this day and time. Thanks, Dj's grandma

sharon's Koolaid Jammers

This is a koolaid jammers handbag for the little girls. I used clean and dry pouches. They have lace around the edges to add softness. I just love my new hobby. I often see things differently than others. I love to have something no one else has. This is why many of my bags will be one of a kind. I am just playing around with styles now. But i plan to have it done right.

Devine Insanity

My blog? Hmm. Well, i don't know! I haven't written anything yet. I'm guessing it will change pretty often. I work for a certain gov't agency for Women Infants and Children so I come home w/ daily anecdotes about my worklife. And I am a wife and mom and life at our house is a delightful struggle for sanity.

Having a Wedding for Under $2000!

Hey guys! I am trying to have a wedding for under 2000 doing a pretty good job so far as to paticular things, but i need more help! My wedding is in April 2008 for 200 people, and i'm stuck.... Things that have been accomplished are: Invitations-A friend made them for my wedding gift, all i had to pay for was her ink for her printer My Cake- It's being made by someone at my Future Mother In-Law's church for free. Photographer- My Future Father in Law is a Amature photographer and he's doing the pix for free, and we're also having disposibal cameras on the tables at the reception. Food- Potluck Desert Style! Dress- Cost 400 and Grandma paid for it as a gift i'm just stuck on the rest.... I am having a hard time picking a location to hold 200 people for super cheap. Does anyone have any ideas as to any close locations to Portland, OR or Vancouver, WA where i could hold a cheap yet beutiful wedding and reception? Pref indoors? Any ideas?
